Before showers and after our daily cuddle in bed;
All 6 of us, with Miro squeezed on bed edge,
Seeking blankets, or climbing in caves beneath our legs;
Tai still sleeping and scratching arms;
The twins giggling and vomiting in our hair.

After seeing a little girl buy icecream on Playschool
Mummy says to Miro "I know where that icecream shop is!"
Miro asks "Please can we go there?"
And so we do.
We eat yummy pasta and garlic bread
In the quiet ivy garden, and later, Miro chooses
A mango icecream.

Miro is so elated when we pick him up from preschool today
After a hard day partying at Lillie Laceby's 92nd birthday party
Where the kids are still disco dancing at 3pm!
Coming home with a lolly bag,
He kindly shares them with Goo
But then realises hiding them in a very safe place
Is probably going to be a necessity.
Too bad the littlest brother has spotted him!
Later, he learns to use the peeler
When we prepare an apple tart,
But are prevented from cooking it
By a four hour evening power shortage.
Luckily Steve and Lucy come over for some funnery
Ad the boys enjoy bathing in the darkness!
