So completely ecstatic about returning to preschool
After two weeks of holidays. Hands crammed in their mouths
They jump and giggle and can't help but hug one another.
Later, when it's time to go home
Leo and Miro have a special goodbye hug
That they now replicate every morning and afternoon...

For the grazed knee he gets while we're walking to the service
Sees him wailing for the whole hour after!
Incapable of walking, he slides everywhere on his bum,
And complains bitterly at the world's injustice.

At Cat's birthday party

Today is also the day Miro writes a song for Mummy.
It has become a hit around the house so we have to put the lyrics down.

Ever since Leo gave Miro his birthday party invitation, around 3 weeks ago
Miro has asked every morning whether it's Leo's birthday yet.
Today we can finally say YES!
Miro is beside himself with excitement.
After Leo's birthday, we then go see Vicky and Ayden
To celebrate Diego's birthday party! Miro and Vicky
Giggle and wrestle and conspire over the birthday cake.

Later, inspired, we draw more maps of the garden,
Counting paces to find eggs tucked into the veggie patch.

And makes it disappear forever.
He cries bitter tears.
But when Mummy takes photos, says
"Please don't show my friends photos where I am sad,
Friends should see Happy photos."
And so he has a snuggle with Lowan,
We take some Happy photos
And everyone feels better.
