Racing around on his new motorbike with Tai running along beside,
Reading books with Nanna,
And cooking his birthday cake,
Being bashfully delighted when it later emerges, thrice candled!

A rainy day with windy winds at 90km/hour
Is not so good for the playground or beach, but perfect
For chocolate cake lovingly licked.

Although Rose was meant to be Tai's girlfriend
Miro loves her most, covering her with kisses
And smiles when they share moments.

A chill day warmed by play in the sun,
Going ever "paster" on the jacaranda rope swing
And playing hidies with Tai in the clean sheets.

Miro is a sweetheart today,
And good as gold the whole day through.
He munches soup, helps make the gateau,
Plays with Pop, and learns how to use the computer mouse.
His grand finale - taking himself off to bed, and reading himself to sleep!

Miro loves it when Aunty Julia and Uncle Matt come for yummy fish lunch
And proudly shows them his pyjamas and teddies,
Before Matt reads the headless chook book to Miro,
Practicing all the French words!

Who not only teases his sibling, but shares biscuit bits
And lovingly force-feeds him water.

Miro wants to be pushed ever-higher on the swing,
Laughs when Mummy tells him she loves him through the magic talking tubes,
Does a flourish when saying "My did it!" after climbing the bouldering wall,
And kicks up clouds of chipboard dust as we walk back to the car...

Singing in the microphone, not caring who hears him,
While Tai plays the accompanying music.
After, reunited with Incy Vicky Spider, the two hug joyously
And crane together over the hermit crab in the petshop.

Tripping through Norah's rocky wonderland
On a wild and windy day sees Miro
Surprised by a wave, and tumble footfirst into a rockpool,
Where Mummy must carry him, miserable, all the way back to the car.

Miro is unsettled all today, as we conquer planes, taxis, walking and cars...
And so happy to be home, in his new dressing gown,
Snuggled with Daddy, Goo beside him,
Reading his Paris book.

Later, Breno covers him in Autumn , and he finds purple fleurs
To offer to Mummy with a kiss.

Where the boys brave the freeze to frolic on the verandah,

But thinks it is a noun. He says "here, have my boiling!"

Turn into delightful ones at the shops
When interspersed with trips to look at toys in the toyshop
And finished with a much-anticipated jaunt to the playground.

Miro, Matai and Archie find the lolly bags at the end of Rose's party
And begin sneakily dividing the spoils amongst themselves
Leaving nothing but longing looks for more, empty wrappers and dirty faces!
